Cotehardies (14th century)

These were made to a pattern of my own design, loosely based on the 14th century gowns discovered in Herjolfsnes, Greenland.  It has six long pieces--two in front, two in back, and one under each arm--and six triangular gores.  It's fitted generously enough that I can actually put it on over my head without having to lace it.
